A few hours ago, Logan was just about to drive out of his office premises when he saw a familiar car. Before he could draw closer to confirm the identity of the owner, his phone rang, and he answered it. It was his grandpa.
"If you have seen my car, just walk to it."
Logan reluctantly walked to the car, opened it, and sat down. "I wasn't expecting you here, Grandpa."
The old man showed no expression on his face and did not come with a driver. "I just came to warn you. At the party, remember not to offend your brother. I won't be there to protect you if you upset him."
Logan recalled Alex's rage during the meeting and smiled bitterly. He and Alex grew up together, but Alex turned out so different.
Most times, Logan wondered where Alex got his strength. Even in a wheelchair, he remained tough.
