Alex was on his way to the base when he remembered something and changed direction the moment he reached the familiar street.
"Let's see Monica before going to the base," he said.
Ike understood and instantly turned the wheel. One of the caretakers welcomed him as soon as he entered the house.
The security and all the bodyguards were his men, so no one questioned him when he was led to Monica's room.
A lot of surprises awaited Joanna should she return to her mother's house, as two maids had also been employed with the intention that the two should never be off duty at the same time.
Alex was not expecting Monica to be on call with Joanna, feeling awkward when the phone was given to him. But before he said a word, he heard Joanna say,
