"What the hell happened here?"
Grey demanded, his voice sharp and steady despite the unease swirling in his chest.
Apollo's bloodshot eyes flicked toward him, wide and wild.
His chest heaved with heavy, labored breaths, and his blue fur was slick with blood both his and others', it seemed.
Grey's gaze flickered between Apollo and the lifeless bodies of Isaac, Talia, and Ken lying in a crimson pool.
'This doesn't add up.'
Grey thought, his mind racing.
Apollo looked completely drained, but the three couldn't have done this to him with their strength if they had fought.
Which begged the question:
'What the hell did this to him—and to them?'
Grey said, his tone sharper this time
"Apollo tell me what happened?"
