"What are you doing? Get on," Grey said, raising an eyebrow and giving Isaac an odd look.
Isaac hesitated, his eyes flicking nervously to Viscereon.
The slime had transformed into its eagle form, but the expression on its face wasn't exactly friendly.
It looked downright intimidating, its sharp eyes glaring at Isaac as if daring him to get any closer.
"But the beast..." Isaac stammered, pointing at Viscereon, still unsure.
Grey followed Isaac's gaze and then smirked, seeing the slime's angry glare. It was clear that Viscereon was trying to scare Isaac.
"Don't mind his ugly look," Grey said, dismissing the slime with a wave. "He won't harm you unless I order it to."
Isaac's breath caught in his throat.
He wanted to believe Grey, but the sheer size of Viscereon and the cold stare were making him second-guess everything.
