Chapter 133 - Chapter 133

Kara had successfully defeated the Parallax entity, showcasing the sheer dominance of the White Light of Life. Not only could she tap into nearly the entire emotional spectrum, but she could also exert overpowering control over those energies, even absorbing other spectrums to increase her own power.

In simple terms, if a Green Lantern encountered Kara, she could not only wield the power of will but also fully absorb the Green Lantern's energy. Essentially, she could defeat an opponent using their own strength against them, all while absorbing that power to bolster her own.

Additionally, Kara could manipulate reality itself, altering it to her will, and even traverse time and space to change historical events. For this reason, the Asgardians weren't particularly shocked that she had been able to kill Parallax. They had tried to dissuade her because they knew how potent her powers were and that she could easily eliminate the fear entity.

Fortunately, Kara retained control over herself. When she destroyed Parallax, she didn't merely annihilate the being but also extracted its role as the embodiment of fear. In effect, she removed Parallax from its position and ensured a replacement to maintain the emotional spectrum's balance.

However, it should be noted that White Light wielders aren't entirely invincible. For instance, the Black Lantern, as the representation of death, could potentially end Kara or forcibly strip her of the emotional spectrum energies she wielded. This is the only known method to defeat her.

As Kara hurled the golden egg into space, the Asgardians finally felt some relief. They knew that as long as the yellow power of fear remained stable, balance in the emotional spectrum would be maintained; any disruption would have catastrophic consequences.

As for the golden egg, hatching it wasn't Kara's responsibility. Instead, she carried the weakened Parallax creature toward the Sun, steadily stepping closer to the massive star.

Upon reaching the Sun's surface, Kara felt the immense heat waves, nuclear radiation, and relentless heat. Even her resilience was tested by the searing temperatures, but her enhanced physical abilities, combined with the faint protective glow emitted by her ten power rings, shielded her. The light rings proved invaluable for her journey across the Sun.

Gazing around, Kara observed that the Sun's surface wasn't merely fire and flames. She spotted minerals and vast land areas—these weren't ordinary substances. Only minerals that had endured billions of years under such intense solar conditions could have remained intact.

Contrary to popular belief, the Sun isn't just a sphere of fire. Its surface appears covered in flames, but in reality, it also has strange rocks that withstand extreme conditions. With the Sun's massive gravity, enough to influence the entire solar system, it's much denser than Earth.

Feeling a sense of wonder, Kara continued her exploration. After all, it was her first time setting foot on the Sun's surface. However, she soon recalled that there was still one matter to address—the Parallax creature in her possession. Holding it up, she examined the alien entity before unceremoniously devouring it. As a Titan towering over 300 meters, Kara dwarfed the 100-meter-tall Parallax, and her strength was unparalleled.

Surprisingly, the Parallax wasn't charred but had been perfectly "cooked" by the Sun's intense heat. Given its insect-like appearance, it was unexpectedly crunchy, reminiscent of potato chips. Kara took her time enjoying it, even dipping it in the Sun's molten magma for added flavor, savoring the meal as she continued her journey across the solar surface.

Her massive form, like a mythical Titan, traversed the Sun. On this star, there was no distinction between day and night. Kara walked on, seemingly exploring every corner of the Sun.

Throughout her journey, she encountered various forms of solar "weather." As a fixed star, the Sun doesn't have wind and rain, but it does experience solar phenomena such as flares, sunspots, solar wind, and corona ejections. Solar flares, in particular, are awe-inspiring; they release energy equivalent to tens of billions of hydrogen bombs detonating simultaneously.

As for sunspots, they're often linked with solar flares. Sunspots usually appear alongside bright regions known as faculae, forming an intriguing solar phenomenon. The solar wind is composed of elementary particles like protons and electrons, forming streams of plasma ejected from the Sun's upper atmosphere.

Kara studied these phenomena, understanding the significance of the Sun's energies. Part of her motivation lay in the fact that Kryptonian power is derived from yellow sunlight. The red light of a red star, on the other hand, weakens Kryptonians. Kara pondered why this was the case and theorized about creating her own artificial sun rays to sustain herself, even in isolation. She could potentially harness her green light ring to manifest a solar energy source.

During her prolonged exposure to the Sun, Kara's strength increased rapidly. By the second day, she no longer required the protection of her light rings; she could walk freely on the Sun's surface, protected by her inherent resilience. Her hair and clothes remained unscathed due to her biology, unaffected by the Sun's radiation.

Yet, as her journey continued, her "food supply" in the form of Parallax creatures dwindled, leaving her with only the Sun's resources. Kara adapted by using the Sun's magma as sustenance and its intense flames as nourishment. Her physiology continued to evolve under the extreme conditions, achieving new insights, such as heat vision reaching temperatures near 10,000 degrees Celsius.

Eventually, Kara directed her attention to the Sun's core. She found a path leading toward the center, a journey that would allow her to delve into the Sun's most intense and mysterious energies.
