Five hundred years ago,Long Yi Liang founded the Qingzhou State hence becoming the first emperor. With the help of the Hu Clan(Fox Clan),he claimed six major cities;Yunhai,Jinghe,Hucheng , Gloomhaven,Shuijing and Longmen and marked them as part of his territory.
Among the six cities Yunhai became the capital of Qingzhou State. After establishing a stable state ,the Hu Clan decided to withdraw from affairs of the human world and therefore the emperor gifted them the Hucheng City and the Hu Clan settled there.
Jinghe was where the Noble Su and Noble Wu clans lived. Descendants of the two clans were high class individuals who lived lavishly with most merchants residing there.Shuijing famously known as the Flower City because of the many different kinds of flowers that bloomed there especially during spring. It was also famous for its floral wines and delicacies.
Gloomhaven was a strange town shrouded in perpetual twilight, where the sun never fully rose, casting long, eerie shadows over cobblestone streets. In Gloomhaven, the air was thick with an unsettling silence, broken only by the occasional whisper of the wind through the ancient, twisted trees that lined the town's outskirts. The buildings were old and weathered, their once-vibrant colors faded to dull grays and browns. Ivy and moss crept up the walls, giving the town an abandoned, almost haunted appearance.
The townspeople moved about their daily routines with a mechanical precision, their faces devoid of emotion. They avoided eye contact and spoke in hushed tones.There were no gatherings, no laughter, and no signs of camaraderie. Each person lived in their own isolated bubble, wary of forming any bonds. Additionally, most people who resided there were human cultivators. And on streets several vendors would be seen selling different kinds of talismans.
Longmen was situated at the edge of the state, nestled between towering mountains and a winding river that served as a natural border. The town was strategically located on a trade route, making it a bustling hub for merchants, travelers, and soldiers. Several military camps were set up in the town where several soldiers resided dedicating their whole life to guarding the border and defending the whole state from intrusion by the enemy states.
The current imperial family was made up of Emperor Long Tianyu,his two wives ,his four sons and an appointed princess who was apparently considered as a member of the imperial family.Long Mingzhu the first prince and Long Feng Huang the fourth prince were born of Empress Xiang Fei,Long Zhenhai the second prince was born of Consort Ling Shuo while Long Haoyue the third prince was born of the deceased Consort An. Emperor Long desired to have a daughter but the heavens didn't grant him one so he appointed Yuchi Qingyu the daughter of General Yuchi Han as the princess. Yuchi Qingyu was also granted the title Princess Yuhua ,the princess of jade splendor due to her father's military merit,loyalty and dedication in serving both the Emperor and the people.
