Chapter 4 - Chapter#4: Unknown Beginning

Beginnings happens, sometimes good and sometimes bad similarly some new beginnings were about to happen or happened already, it was yet to known.

Days were going on horse back, galloping faster in the ground of life. Lysandra was doing quite well, everything was normal until when? it's not known. Atleast it seemed like this because after that cold and crisp night nothing had happened.

Hilda became more vigilant after that but her thoughts were;

"It's nothing much, just a stormy night and I'm overthinking it". It was enough for her to knew that Lysandra was fine and healthy so she was focusing on her instead of such lame thoughts.

Winter was on its peak, the night was dark and serene, full moon was playing hide and seek with the thick blanket of clouds. Wind was heavy enough to break down the small twigs on its way.

Something was different about this night.

A figure was staring at the small window, few feet above him and an evil grin appeared on his face.

Hilda was placing the dishes of cooked meat, fried rice with mushroom soup on the oak table. She hung the apron on the nearby hook and was about to wash her hands but before that the door flew opened with one kick. When she turned around, she was astonished to see a man in black hood with deep burning eyes,full of unknown dark emotions. He hauled upstairs without saying anything, Hilda ran after him to stop him but he hit her and pushed her downstairs. He went straight to Lysandra's bedroom, seeing her sleeping soundly, a grin crept to his merciless face. He was about to pull her hand to drag her away but before that he was pushed back, an unknown energy, his hand was badly burnt, the inflammation was like pricking of needles. He was shocked to see that getting up on his feet, he murmured in pain, vanishing into thin air.

Blood was pouring out from Hilda's forehead, she dragged herself to hold the staircase, somehow she managed to reach Hilda's bedroom, seeing her lying on bed. Her breath came back, she kissed her hand and cried silently.

She made an oath, not for herself but for the sake of Lysandra's life. She wasn't worried for herself that she even forgot her wound but her only duty was to keep Lysandra safe. She decided to leave this place forever, she thought to go back to their ancestry house in far off town. She knew it was Lysandra's parents house but it was the only way to protect her. If she had to give her life in order to save her, she was ready wholeheartedly.

He cried out with pain, when the old lady applied something on his hand. "It's quite peculiar , my lord", a dry voice echoed.

He didn't replied but something was going on his mind, his dark thoughts were being knitted!!
