~WEDDING DAY~
At the cold palace,
While I kept on waiting, I was really bored so I went to my room to wash up and change clothes.
"Princess, dinner is ready. Please come down to the dining table."
I hurriedly came down to the dining table and started to eat. I was really hungry.
"As usual your handmade food is the best, Diana."
"You are flattering me, Princess."
I stared at Diana for a while. While eating, I kept sighing.
"What's wrong Princess? Is the food not to your liking today? Is there any problem?"
Diana asked me as it's unusual for me to sigh while having dinner.
"Not that, I was just thinking I won't be able to eat your homemade food after I get married right? And I am gonna miss you a lot, Diana. Can't you come with me?"
I looked at Diana with a puppy eyes so she would say yes. I wanted her to come with me.
"Princess..."
She looked sad as she called me.
"You know that I can't. My family is here. I need to look after them too. But you will come to visit me even after you get married right?"
"Of course, I will. You are the only one whom I can return to."
"Princess... I will be waiting for you."
I was happy that I will create my own family but after marriage I will be in an unknown place with unknown people. To tell the truth I am really scared.
But I can't tell this to Diana. She will be more worried. I know she has a family to take care of. But still, I want her to come with me.
I really am a selfish person.
After we both ate our dinner I went back to my room.
"Okay princess. Please go to sleep now. Otherwise you will look like a panda tomorrow morning. Like a black puffy eyes."
Diana giggles while teasing me.
"Haha, stop kidding. Okay, Good night. Diana."
"Good night, Princess."
That's right, unlike me she has a family who cares for her just as much as I care for her. But, if her family or me... If one of us got in danger. I wonder who she will save first.
I don't want to know the answer. As I know no matter how much she cares for me, her own family would be more priority for her than an abandoned princess.
I laid down on my bed and kept thinking.
"Once I get married, then I would start my own family. A caring and loving husband, a sweet child, one girl and one boy? It would be lovely. Our house would definitely be lively."
I wasn't able to sleep all night. I was thinking about Prince George and about my new family.
After a few days, The time had come.
The marriage between the Second prince of the William Empire, George Williams and 4th princess of the Wilson Empire, Irene Wilson.
The Emperor send the wedding dress to Irene. She was really happy about it. But something she didn't expect happened.
"Princess, You look so pretty in this wedding dress."
"Diana, you are flattering me."
"Let's go, Princess. Prince is waiting for you.."
Diana kept teasing Irene.
"Emm..."
I was blushing.
Some knights came to get me to the wedding hall.
"Your highness, it's time to go." Said knights.
{"I wish my father came to the wedding even though he is busy."}
The Emperor Arthur Wilson came to attend the wedding. He didn't attend the engagement but he came to the wedding of his daughter.
Irene was brought to the wedding hall and Diana tagged along as well.
She saw the Prince George William. The Prince looked so handsome. The Prince was also shocked who looked so beautiful. His eyes were wide open and he kept staring at Irene.
"Uh.. Your highness?"
"Ah.. Emm.."
He got snapped out of his thoughts."
He gave his hand to Irene for her to hold.
The priests asked," Do you both agree to this marriage."
"Yes, we do." both said at the same time.
"Do you love and care for each other eternally in any sickness and age. And promise to be always loyal to each other.?"
"Yes." Both answered at the same time.
"Okay, now groom will kiss the bride and this wedding would be complete."
The priest didn't do his work properly as he knows the George thoughts as well as the situation of Irene.
They both vow the promises made in the wedding. Like that, their wedding was complete. They both smiled at each other.
They were about to leave for the William Empire. She was looking at her father but he didn't even look at her. She got disappointed again.
"Let's go Princess..." George said with a smile on his face.
"Yes..."
She still had sadness on her face. Irene went to Arthur.
"Goodbye, Father."
Just for the show, he pretends to be sad for letting go of his daughter.
"Goodbye, Irene. Take care of yourself."
Irene knew her father was just pretending. So, she didn't say anything, just bowed to him and left.
"Goodbye, Diana. I will miss you a lot."
She started to cry while hugging Diana.
"Me too, Princess. Please take care of yourself. And don't forget to write me letters. I will write back too."
"Emm..."
"Your make up will be messed up if you cry like that."
"Let's go, princess. Or we will be too late for the banquet at our palace."
"Ya-yes.. I am coming."
George gave his hand for Irene to go inside the carriage. As she held his hand while blushing and went inside.
Irene and George hopped up in the carriage and started their journey to William's palace.
