Chapter 78 - Chapter 78: The Former Shipyard

After Nami finished the drawing, Ryuen still hadn't decided to go in.

The city was too chaotic. If the seven of them entered, they would definitely attract the attention of people with bad intentions.

They would then have to waste time dealing with trouble.

As for the people in the city, they weren't interested in getting involved, nor could they do anything about it. In a place with no order and no resources, even if Ryuen dealt with the heads of the big factions, new powers would just form afterward.

This was the result of greed and desire in human nature, unless a capable leader emerged from among them.

Otherwise, the chaos would continue.

"Let's go. We'll find a place to stay for the night, and leave Cozia Island tomorrow." Ryuen said, then turned and walked away.

The other six quickly followed.

"Captain, can we visit the shipyard near the port tomorrow?" Hog couldn't help but ask.

"The shipyard?"

"What do we need to go there for? And at this time, the shipyard is probably destroyed." Ryuen looked at Hog with some confusion.

"Because there's something I have to get there. It's a tool left to me by my father." Hog said through gritted teeth, looking in a certain direction.

"Alright, we'll go to the shipyard tomorrow!" Ryuen agreed.

Hog's tone made it clear there was something secret behind this, and since Hog didn't say anything, Ryuen and the others didn't press him for details.

The seven of them spent the night in a secluded spot in the mountains. By now, the animals on the island had become extremely scarce, almost all hunted down.

Fortunately, there was still plenty of food in Nami's space, otherwise, it would be hard to find meat here. They were in the middle of a growth phase and needed to eat a lot of meat with every meal.

After a night's rest, the seven of them began their journey to the coastal port. This time, they didn't walk there, but used Nami's space to quickly reach the coast.

"There are people here?"

"Hog, did you know there were people here and came here because of that?" Ryuen asked, looking at the shipyard in the distance.

At the shipyard, dozens of people were busy working, and the sounds of hammering and sawing could be heard coming their way.

"Mmm!"

"The people in the shipyard must be part of my uncle's faction!" Hog said, his eyes flashing with hatred as he looked at the shipyard.

Even Leah, standing beside him, looked furious, as if she was about to charge into the shipyard. It seemed like the conflict between the Hog siblings and their uncle was quite deep!

"Your uncle?"

"Hog, what's going on?" Nojiko asked, surprised.

"He doesn't deserve to be our uncle! He's a scumbag!" Hog said through gritted teeth.

Then, Hog began to tell the story of what had happened with his uncle.

Hog's father had once been a famous shipbuilder on Cozia Island, and the shipyard was originally his father's property.

They had lived comfortably while overseeing the shipyard, but everything changed after a certain incident.

In order to seize their family's wealth, Hog's uncle conspired with a powerful noble on the island to murder their parents, making it look like they were killed in a pirate attack.

At that time, Hog was only 10 years old, and his uncle took full control of their family's wealth, citing Hog's young age as the reason.

He then drove Hog and Leah out to the countryside, which was the village they had stayed in yesterday.

After Cozia Island was destroyed by Germa 66, the island's factions became completely chaotic, and Hog's uncle's power started to decline.

With the arrival of Ryuen and his group, Hog saw a chance for revenge. He wanted to avenge his parents and, in the process, reclaim the axe his father had left him!

"Axe?"

"Hog, is there something special about that axe?" Ryuen immediately asked.

He felt that the axe Hog was talking about was probably more than just something his father left him—it surely had some other significance.

"I know about that!"

"Ryuen brother, my dad's axe is really sharp. I once saw it chop through iron like it was nothing!" Leah quickly chimed in.

"That's right!"

"Captain, my father's axe is truly sharp. It's said to cut through iron like mud!" Hog said seriously.

Ryuen's eyes suddenly lit up!

Could it be... the Supreme Great Axe?

Based on Hogg's description, his father was just strong and didn't know any martial arts, but the axe he used could cut through iron like it was nothing.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go! We'll take down your uncle and get your Supreme Great Axe back!" Ryuen said excitedly.

He had seen the Great Sword, and the Great Stairs, but this was the Supreme Great Axe! He had to see it for himself!

"Supreme Great Axe?" ×6

The other six people exchanged puzzled glances. They knew about the Great Sword, but was there a ranking for axes too?

"Let's not get hung up on that. The important thing is helping Hogg get revenge and get the axe back!" Ryuen said without explaining further, then headed toward the shipyard.

"Let's go!"

"We'll follow..." Nojiko said and quickly caught up with Ryuen.

Before they even got close to the shipyard, the guards outside spotted them and pointed guns at them.

"This place doesn't welcome outsiders. Leave immediately!" the leader of the guards warned in a deep voice.

"Leave it to you. Take care of them," Ryuen said as he walked over to Leah's side.

Of the seven, she was the weakest and still needed protection. The other five rushed forward, charging straight at the guards, followed by a barrage of gunfire!

Ryuen, with Leah beside him, watched from a distance. He wouldn't interfere with a fight like this. It was better for them to hone their combat skills.

A few minutes later, the five had broken into the shipyard, and inside, the place was already on high alert.

"Hog? It's really you?" A middle-aged man with some stubble looked surprised when he saw Hogg from several dozen meters away.

"Uncle Spegg, I trust you've been doing well these years?" Hogg said in a deep voice.

Spegg froze for a moment, then burst out laughing. "Hahaha... Things have been pretty good, thanks to your father. Otherwise, I wouldn't have had the chance to live such a comfortable life!"

Even though the guards had been defeated, Spegg wasn't worried because there were still a dozen or so men behind him holding rocket launchers!

Not only that, there were three cannons inside the shipyard aimed directly at Hogg!

With such overwhelming firepower, he didn't think Hogg stood a chance.

"Scum!"

"Uncle Spegg, today I will avenge my parents!" Hogg couldn't hold back anymore and charged forward.

"Foolish!"

"Everyone! Open fire!!!" Seeing Hogg charging toward him, Spegg sneered and immediately ordered the cannons to fire!
