Using Nami's alternate space, they quickly arrived at the spot Nami had just discovered.
"Do you think those surviving pirates were eaten by the giant snakes?" Nojiko wondered, looking at the broken trees around them.
"I don't know, but look! There are some things left by the pirates over there!" Nami's eyes lit up as she ran to a patch of grass and picked up a solid gold pocket watch!
"It's made of gold! Hehehe…" Nami was thrilled; finally, they had made some progress!
"There really is treasure… everyone, search around!" Nojiko said excitedly.
Immediately, the four girls switched to a flashing mode, darting from tree branches to patches of grass.
"Everyone! Come quickly!" Daisy's excited voice suddenly called out.
The other three rushed over to Daisy!
In front of them was a cave, just large enough for a person to pass through. The entrance showed signs of a struggle, and the fallen scales nearby indicated it had to be the work of those giant snakes!
"I'm sure there's something inside! Maybe the pirate treasure is hidden in there!" Daisy said excitedly.
"Let's go check it out!" ×3
Nami quickly took out a flashlight and went into the cave.
Inside the cave, it was dry, and along the way, they found the frantic footprints of pirates. They must have run around in panic because of the giant snake.
The four girls followed the traces left by the pirates for over half an hour, but they didn't find anything.
Instead, the space inside the cave gradually opened up, with some areas nearly ten meters high.
"How strange, why is this cave so deep…" Kuina wondered.
Gradually, they started to become cautious, as they didn't know if the pirates were still alive. They certainly didn't want to get caught off guard in the cave.
"Split up!"
"Treasure! There's treasure here!" Daisy excitedly ran to a corner.
The other three looked over and indeed saw several bundles, one of which was loosely tied and already glimmering with a golden shine!
They all perked up at once!
"Hee hee hee, we're rich!" Nami opened all the bundles, and inside were various treasures!
Golden antiques, valuable statues, and some gemstones, along with necklaces made of different pearls—everyone was almost blinded by the shiny treasure!
For these girls, especially for Nami, nothing was more thrilling than touching so much treasure!
"How odd… why did they leave the treasure here?" Kuina suddenly felt puzzled.
These treasures were quite valuable; it was strange that the pirates hadn't taken them away but left them here to collect dust…
"Nami, let's gather this treasure first," Nojiko said.
Nami immediately opened a portal, and they all tossed the treasure into the special space.
Once the treasure was out of sight, the excitement that had just made them feel hot began to cool down.
Next, they looked at the two branching caves. Now that they were here, the cave had split into two.
"Should we keep going in?" Daisy said uncertainly.
The two paths looked very deep, and it was dark inside, with no end in sight.
The four girls exchanged glances and slowly nodded; they decided to go in!
With Nami's Door-Door Fruit, they weren't afraid of how deep the cave was; they could just exit from the special space if needed.
The reason they didn't want to use the special space to enter was that using the Door-Door Fruit would take away the sense of adventure!
Both branching caves had signs of pirates going in, so they chose one to enter together.
In the spacious cave, the footsteps of the four girls echoed loudly. They remained on guard, with Kuina and Nojiko's hands never leaving their sword handles.
After what felt like a long time, they were growing impatient and were about to turn back when they suddenly heard something!
"Help me…" A weak voice called out to them.
The four girls exchanged worried glances.
They're not dead! Some of those pirates are still alive!
At that moment, they didn't say anything but cautiously moved toward the direction of the voice.
As they got closer, the call for help became clearer until they arrived at a small chamber-like cave!
"What's going on…" Daisy's face turned pale.
Five pirates had already died, four of them shot through by arrows, and the one still alive had broken legs and a pierced chest.
He had become skin and bones, and his whole appearance was terrifying, not looking much like a human.
"Please help me... I have lots of treasure... I can give it all to you..." The surviving pirate's eyes flashed with a hint of cunning when he saw someone coming, but it quickly vanished.
"Room!" Daisy called out, activating her Devil Fruit ability as she observed through the circle.
Seeing that the girl in front of him had Devil Fruit powers, the pirate was suddenly filled with hope!
After a few seconds, Daisy retracted her ability and said sadly, "I'm sorry, I can't save you. Your organs have almost reached the limit."
This pirate had exhausted his energy, and his organs were nearly dead. If he were outside, she might have had a way to help...
The other three girls felt a bit frustrated; it wasn't a good feeling to be unable to help someone who was calling for help. Even though they had killed many pirates, and this one was a pirate too, there was a big difference between saving someone and then killing them, or being powerless to help.
"Ha ha ha... cough, cough... I knew it... Little girl, come here, and I'll tell you where my treasure is hidden..." The pirate's voice was getting weaker.
Hearing this, the four girls instantly heightened their guard! They had already found the pirate's treasure!
"Die!" The pirate's eyes went wild as he slammed the back of his head against the surface he was leaning on.
"Be careful!"
"Room!"
As soon as Daisy created the circle, countless arrows shot out!
The arrows were all controlled within Daisy's circle, and the four girls looked on anxiously at the arrows inside it.
Once they calmed down, they glared at the pirate, only to find that he was completely dead!
"Dammit!"
"I knew we couldn't trust him!"
The girls felt regret; they had almost fallen into his trap, but thankfully Daisy reacted quickly!
"Let's get out of here!" Nojiko said in a low voice.
Nami quickly opened a space door; they wanted to leave fast since so many people had died here—it was too unlucky!
Back at the beach, the girls breathed in the fresh air, reflecting on what had just happened, still feeling a bit unsettled.
"Let's head back. We've explored this place enough," Nojiko suggested.
The other three nodded; overall, they thought this adventure was pretty good.
They returned the same way they came and arrived back at the unnamed island where their camp was. The remaining Beast King, now about ten meters tall, was still guarding the campsite obediently.
"Thank you for your hard work! You can go back now!" Nami said sweetly to the Beast King.
The Beast King felt relieved, but looking at the smiling, two-legged creature, he couldn't sense her friendliness at all!
Fearing that he would be slaughtered as well, he quickly distanced himself from the campsite!
The girls couldn't help but laugh at this scene.
Suddenly, a loud phoenix cry echoed through the sky, accompanied by a powerful and overwhelming presence, like Conqueror's Haki!
The king of birds had completed its rebirth!
Nami: "Someone actually said a black qipao looks bad yesterday! So today, I'll change into white and get some good reviews and free gifts!"
