By riverside where waves caressed moist sand,
there's player struck a chord on string by hand,
whose fingers played music came with ripple,
whose music lingered listening maple.
In eventide, player watched western land,
where setting sun settled on her homeland,
watching clouds in twilight seemed like apple,
smiling toward dusk clouds with a dimple.
In white moonlight, player watched moon in dome,
breathing in fragrance from distant blossom,
when wind drifted through shore with aroma,
shaking gray cloud off moon showed on water.
In late deep night, player returned with dog,
walking into darkness with croaks of frog.
