She was as pretty as he was handsome,
her hand held his as peach branch held blossom,
her hair tied his like threads with hues of night,
her hair and his would fade from black to white.
She condensed white moonbeam shone through his home,
her eyes twinkled like stars filled starry dome,
her lips were as red as rose in moonlight,
her lips sealed his as daisy kissed daylight.
She condensed warmed sunshine crept through window,
warming chilled dawn, as chilled as his sorrow,
when he grew old and then fell in sickbed,
as trees grew tall and then fell overhead.
She carried away his sorrow like wind,
shaking gray cloud covered his sky in mind.
