What you believed, made you blossom like bloom,
if you believed in love, became bridegroom,
you would sacrifice like firefly for bride,
holding her hand, growing old by her side.
What you believed, carried away your gloom,
if you believed in joy, danced in ballroom,
you would dance like fall leaf danced through shoreside,
dancing like spray with tune of rippling tide.
Some believed in money, as cold as stone,
some believed in power, climbed toward throne,
some believed in beauty, pretty as town,
some believed in nature, loved dusk sundown.
What people believed, made people unique,
what couple believed, made couple lovesick.
