White cloud fluttered with light wind underfeet,
and rolled like flowing goats, like flying sheet,
when snakewoman rode atop cloud in air,
and passed through bamboo forest toward fair.
Snakewoman beheld cloud gauze veiled in street,
and college town leaned on green mountain feet,
perhaps cultivarors passed through willow hair,
so snakewoman tottered on white jade stair.
Someone said, white jade stair trained cultivator,
each step contained heaven and ground's power,
who trod on end of stair of white jade bridge,
would receive an offer from the college.
Immortal college contained immortal,
so snakewoman danced through stair like petal.
