You beheld orange cloud set setting sun,
whose gaze was like twilight red-stained mountain,
where maple leaves lit in sunshine like flame,
as though wind shaked red leaves whispered out name.
You beheld pearl moon sailed through cloud ocean,
whose gaze was like moonlight whitened fountain,
where roses adorned fountain with scent as same,
as though aroma lured butterfly came.
You wondered if maple leaned on red pine,
if leaves turned lovesickness lit in sunshine,
if fountain reflected moon on surface,
if moon's reflection emerged as pearl face.
You smiled toward fountain with a dimple,
where love's wings touched fountain wrinkled ripple.
