As south wind shaked north tree with rustle sigh,
she kissed south wind sealed inebriate's eye,
perhaps south wind brought her his breath in dawn,
she kissed south wind mixed with the smell of lawn.
As sundown impressed eye like butterfly,
she kissed sunshine warmed corner's some firefly,
perhaps sunshine red-stained clouds over town,
she kissed sunshine painted orange sundown.
As moon raised from azure sapphire ocean,
she kissed moonbeam water moistened garden,
perhaps moonbeam contained her thought of him,
she kissed moonbeam condensed into sweet dream.
Perhaps darkness hid him in curtain night,
she kissed darkness showed twinkling neon light.
