Sooner westering sun set on mountain,
than when sunbeam sprinkled on cloud curtain,
later sun hid in cloud with shape of dog,
than when blade frog chanted toward wet bog.
Sundown was like fireball red-stained heaven,
more scarlet than scarlet roses in garden,
of more beauty than lily next to frog,
and soon sundown vinished like spray, like fog.
Climbers marched on mountain to watch sundown,
watching upon smaller mountains and town,
and smiled toward sundown emerged as rose,
which was more gorgeous than night fireworks shows.
Soon nightfall came with gray curtain of night,
when last sunbeam condensed red neon light.
