Chapter 268 - A cricket sang with chanting frog on lawn

By: Amoureax Amant

A cricket sang with chanting frog on lawn,

a swallow chirped with buzzing bug in dawn,

a swan chanted on pond with rippling stream,

and on mountain a fawn crooned in sunbeam.

A peach blossom blossomed on lively town,

a fragrant breeze set westering sun down,

a cloud adorned heaven with hue of beam,

and in downtown a workman dreamed sweet dream.

A lantern beheld workmen went and came,

an earthen lamp watched dancers danced by flame,

a moon witnessed lovers made oath at night,

and an oath lit each other like moonlight.

Every old song echoed with tune of dawn,

and every bloom adorned yesterday's lawn.
