I marched like fawn leapt through every mountain,
and swam like fish swam through every ocean,
not to explore landscape on green oil plain,
but to plant thought of you in light crisp rain.
I came like breeze passed through cherry forest,
and went like cloud drifted away with mist,
not to be butterfly obsessed flower,
but to be bird which sang for spring water.
I ran like horse ran atop grass on plain,
and breathed like cow breathed in sweet petal rain,
as though my thought of you stretched like wild grass,
as though my love was rain pink-stained blue glass.
I rode atop five hundred miles spring wind,
to look for you who occupied my mind.
