Dark cloud of dawn bloomed like rose smiled on lawn,
like fair's pearl face impressed all men in town,
as bird of freedom chirped with rippling stream,
and frog of bog of fog croaked in sunbeam.
White cloud gathered like cotton of mountain,
and spread away like stars filled blue heaven,
as breeze of spring brought fragrance through skyline,
and sunshine wrote letter of valentine.
You seemed like cloud always fluttered in air,
never set feet on land of downtown fair,
seemed like water lily bathed in sunbeam,
when you rode on cloud horse flew into dream.
You watched dark cloud gathered with tune of rain,
then smiled toward white cloud aloft heaven.
