Your heart and feet set on faraway place,
where city leaned against ocean embrace,
where sky and water looked misty curtain,
where dawn gauze mist hid city and mountain.
Your eyes and face appeared on still surface,
when breeze carried fragrance upon pearl face,
when clouds swam like white whale in deep ocean,
when birds of freedom chirped in blue heaven.
Your lips and smile were warmer than sunshine,
redder than rising sun red-stained wave line,
with more delight you could fill in daylight,
than you felt in past years in neon light.
Your figure leaned against porch by ocean,
of more beauty than faraway mountain.
