Southern swallow came back northern land's home,
when plum garden filled with pink plum blossom,
then chirpped chirping came with chanting blade frog,
when plum blossom smiled in curtain of fog.
Southern fragrance spread over northern land,
by drifting breeze drifted by peach island,
where petal dropped like snow paved avenue,
where petal fluttered down meadow like dew.
Pearl moon aloft hung sky like drifting boat,
as drifting guy drank strong wine into throat,
whose shadow companied in plum garden,
whose eyes watched moon raised from southern ocean.
Pearl moon lit plum petal blossomed in snow,
and peach petal fluttered down green meadow.
