If there was fragrant sea in full flower,
might pansies circle heart-shaped spring water,
where water lily held leaf umbrella,
where butterfly fluttered with aroma.
If there was setting sun settled on sea,
might sunshine red-stain scarlet maple tree,
whose leaves lit like burnt flame in the twilight,
whose bark looked like dark scar in starry night.
If there was someone read poems of mine,
might verses warm someone like spring sunshine,
whose love in lines flowed like crooning river,
whose love in words rippled hot spring water.
If there was someone read heart's lake of mine,
might someone's heart with lake ripple wave line.
