I was light sand in storm yellowed whole sky,
drifting through desert into misty eye,
like fawn's feather that swirled with wind in air,
like dandelion that danced through willow hair.
I was dawn dew in lake rippled wave line,
slipping down petal that bathed in sunshine,
like foam of fish that raised from green water,
like rain of dome that fluttered down flower.
I was green leaf in leaves left chestnut tree,
falling into flowers waved fragrant sea,
like petal danced through grove from peach blossom,
like rain of cherry petal fell from dome.
I was flower blossomed in fragrant sea,
waiting for spring that cooked hot jasmine tea.
