Pet cat sipped milk of sheep which sipped like tea,
and chewed meat piece of fish from distant sea,
as though it was princess in warm palace,
as though it was puppet in warm embrace.
Pet cat longed for free life outside warm house,
and ran away from home toward lighthouse,
as though it was blooming flower in vase,
as though it was snowflake danced through pearl face.
Stray cat saw sky and ground whitened as one,
and saw snow gauze covered mountain and stone,
as though it was snowflake in drifting snow,
as though it was pale grass on white meadow.
As though it was petal danced through old street,
as though it painted plum blossom with feet.
