from black mud bog that never stained beauty,
and as pale as drifting snowflake in snow,
that like feather danced through chestnut shadow.
You were as sweet as purple lavender,
from fragrant sea that waved in mid-summer,
and as elegant as royal princess,
who danced best tango dance in purple dress.
You were as fragrant as chestnut blossom,
from street lined chestnut trees beneath blue dome,
and as promising as sun in the dawn,
that poured down orange sunshine on the lawn.
You were gorgeous flowers in mid-summer,
when you came, and when you went in winter.
