I watched snowflake turned ground and sky as white,
through icy window at foggy daylight,
and roadpaths hid beneath blanket of snow,
save path lined pine, evergreen, and willow.
I cleaned dust snow on stairs at wintry door,
drawing peach tree in full blossom on floor,
and pinched snowman looked like aged witch with broom,
whose broom turned peach trees in full pear blossom.
I fished at arbor lay on central lake,
with solitude and shadow in snowflake,
and sipped hot jasmine tea with water steam,
in light gauze mist on lake looked like sweet dream.
I woke up from rosy dream in bedroom,
and found peach branches bloomed in full pear blossom.
