Someone said friendship bloomed like peach blossom,
and kept fading like snow on roof of home,
but I said peach blossom blossomed again,
when crooning waterfall leapt down mountain.
Someone said friendship sipped like cherished wine,
and kept sweeter with time passing in shine,
but I said wine like tide waved through gold sand,
and washed off footprints on heart-shaped island.
Someone said friendship flowed like spring water,
from snow mountain into rolling river,
but I said spring water flowed into lake,
with crooning echoed waterfall on lake.
But if someone was long-lost friend of mine,
who stretched out hand in rain and left in shine.
