You came as gently as light breeze on lawn,
from fragrant sea with bird's humming at dawn,
and went as lightly as long-drifting cloud,
through green ocean of plains there flowed sheepcloud.
You smiled as gorgeous as pink peach blossom,
toward lighthouse guided sailor to home,
and roared as siren as mermaid on stone,
with tide's echoes beneath mid-autumn moon.
Your skin was pale, paler than winter snow,
bathing in sunbeam painted long shadow,
beneath westering sun fell in mountain,
above blanket of snow covered grass plain.
Your face was round, rounder than moon on sea,
slipping in dream to sip my jasmine tea.
