Green willow branch touched branch there leaf kissed leaf,
and like green hair floated with south wind lief,
like thread without hook streched in rippling stream,
when water rippled with orange sunbeam.
Fall leaf fluttered in pale blue side of sky,
and danced through willow branch like butterfly,
then fluttered down rippling water like spray,
when brown leaf boat sailed with water away.
Green leaf envied brown leaf drifted like dust,
which leaf drifted like boat with wanderlust,
and envied yellow leaf dropped like snowflake,
which leaf followed brown leaf to amber lake.
In amber lake, both leaves like duck's feather,
floated with rippling stream on green water.
