Exercise 2: Aura Perception with a Partner
Once you've become comfortable practicing with inanimate objects, it's time to practice seeing the aura around a living being. This exercise will guide you through perceiving and interpreting auras with a partner.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Choose a Partner: Ask a friend or family member to sit in front of a light-colored wall. They should be sitting still, with their back straight and their hands resting in their lap.
Soften Your Gaze on Their Face: Stand or sit a few feet away from your partner. Gently soften your gaze, focusing just beyond their face or head, letting your eyes relax. As you maintain this soft focus, try to notice any light or color outlining their body.
Observe the Aura: After a few minutes, you may begin to see a faint glow or outline around their head and shoulders. This is the first layer of the aura. With practice, you may start to see colors or changes in the intensity of the light.
Interpret the Colors: If you see colors, take note of them. Different colors in the aura often correspond to different emotions, mental states, or energy levels. For example:
Red: Passion, vitality, anger, or physical energy.
Blue: Calmness, clarity, spiritual connection.
Green: Healing energy, balance, growth.
Yellow: Mental activity, optimism, confidence.
Gray or Dull Colors: Fatigue, stress, or emotional blockages.
Journal Your Observations: After the exercise, write down what you observed. Over time, you'll become more familiar with how to interpret the meanings of the colors and patterns you see in auras.
