Chapter 274 - God King!

Uranus waited quietly, and soon, a figure appeared—Cronus, his own son. The two supreme god kings regarded each other in silence, their expressions calm, devoid of any emotional fluctuations. Only an aura of endless indifference radiated from them, growing increasingly terrifying.

"Father," Cronus said lightly, "you were released by the world. It seems my descendants have truly excelled, placing immense pressure on it."

With a faint smile, Uranus replied, "Cronus, it seems you have remained unchanged all these years. Everything about you appears to lack significance."

"Perhaps."

The two supreme god kings exchanged glances and quietly departed. It was time for them to prepare. For them, this so-called battle of gods felt almost like a jest.

Regardless of its triviality, they would not back down. They would participate without hesitation. This battle of gods was destined to unfold, and anyone with sense would recognize that.

Uranus and Cronus—how could these two supreme god kings choose to retreat? That was utterly impossible!

With the awakening of Uranus and Cronus, the release from their seals marked the imminent onset of the battle between the god kings. How it would unfold was anyone's guess!

No one knew!

The world itself had no thoughts to guide it; it could no longer control everything. In the chaos, it seemed inevitable that an even greater horror would arise, revealing the ultimate outcome. This was the essential core of everything.

Every god awaited the result in silence, for this battle was inevitable. They were all eager to see who would emerge as the final victor!

"Mother God! Teacher!"

Bell stepped forward, bowing slightly. His expression was calm as he addressed the two divine figures closest to him, offering them the utmost respect.

Metis and Prometheus smiled in response.

Metis spoke gently, "Bell, this battle of gods..."

Bell nodded, "Mother God, I understand this battle will be the most chaotic of all! However, it also represents the best opportunity. If successful, everything will be beyond doubt. If we fail..."

As he trailed off, shaking his head calmly, a resolve filled him. Failure? No! Bell would never allow himself to fail—absolutely not! He was determined to succeed.

With the eight supreme god kings in play, how many would remain after the battle? Who would stand victorious? No one could say for certain. But that didn't truly matter.

All that was important lay before them. The outcome, whatever it might be, was inconsequential.

"Um!" Prometheus nodded slightly. "Master Bell, since you are prepared, I will ensure your victory in this battle of gods. No matter what, I will not allow defeat."

"Um!" Bell nodded, mirroring his confidence. Losing would render everything meaningless!

Athena sat in the temple of the goddess, enveloped in silence. Her expression was calm and indifferent, devoid of emotional fluctuations, creating an unsettling atmosphere.

"Your Highness!" Mu knelt, filled with deep respect.

Athena nodded and replied calmly, "Mu, how are preparations coming along?"

Mu hesitated before answering, "Your Majesty, everything is prepared, but the final result remains uncertain."

Athena's eyes reflected a deep peace as she contemplated her thoughts.

In this battle among the eight god kings, Athena found herself the weakest in every aspect—strength and background. The odds seemed stacked against her. Yet, as the goddess of war and victory, giving up was not an option. That would be the most unexpected outcome. No matter the risk, she would never choose to step back.

Typhon stood with his hands behind his back, gazing into the distance, feeling the terrifying auras surrounding him. His expression sharpened as he whispered to himself, "Uranus and Cronus have awakened, and their divine power is indeed formidable."

"It seems," he mused, "that hesitation is no longer an option."

Typhon's eyes glimmered with determination. His plan must unfold—he needed to devour Phorcys to elevate himself to the level of the Primordial god. Without this, victory would be unattainable.

In this battle of gods, only those who reached the Primordial level could claim victory. Otherwise, the final victor would emerge from among Hades, Uranus, and Cronus. This was unacceptable to Typhon; he could not accept being relegated to a mere backdrop.

Destiny! The world! Everything had undergone a drastic transformation. How could he simply surrender? That was out of the question. Every god king, save for Hades, felt the same.

Now that they were involved, all sought victory. Giving up was not an option.

Hades and Poseidon—these two god kings were special exceptions.
