Chapter 148 - God Killing Blade, Earth, Water, Fire, And Wind, Creation Of The Four Realms

Three divine powers flowed into the ancient bronze gate.

The divine powers of Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus converged within it, culminating in a brilliant light accompanied by a crisp, pleasant 'click.' Slowly, the ancient bronze door began to open.

A pitch-black void emerged before everyone's eyes.

For a moment, the gods fell into silence.

Then, their gazes turned to Hades.

It was clear that the treasures held by Hades would be the first to be chosen, followed by Poseidon, and finally, Zeus would take whatever remained.

Without hesitation, Hades stepped through the ancient bronze door. In an instant, he vanished from sight. Some onlookers seemed to have differing thoughts about the ancient gate.

Regrettably, these thoughts remained unaccepted upon. Ultimately, they decided against taking any risks, understanding that some ideas were better left unspoken; otherwise, they might invoke trouble.

Upon entering the ancient bronze gate, Hades found himself in a vast universe.

"Hahaha"

"Hades!"

"Father God."

Hades looked at the figure that appeared before him and nodded slightly. The phantom of Cronus emerged, gazing deeply at Hades, and said with emotion, "Just as I suspected. You are indeed the first to reach the true treasure house within this ancient bronze gate. Come! Choose; everything here is yours."

With a wave of Cronus's hand, vast divine power erupted, revealing countless stars, each adorned with a multitude of treasures, the significance of which was self-evident.

Cronus continued, "Hades, the Titan treasure house contains countless artifacts, many of which rival Chu Zhen's relics. Now, let's see if you can choose from these treasures."

"Thank you, Father God."

Hades nodded and proceeded further.

"Hehehe"

Watching Hades's retreating figure, Cronus smiled. The phantom began to dissipate; it was merely a doppelgänger, and as time passed, it reached its limit and began to fade.

After all, the era of the Titans had ended. No matter how confident Cronus felt, he had to admit that he was merely a relic of a bygone age, and it was time to conclude his chapter.

Following his divine intuition, Hades arrived at a pure white planet composed entirely of clouds. Upon his arrival, he felt a terrifying divine power piercing through the atmosphere.

God-Killing Flame!

God-Killing Thunder!

The two forms of divine power surged simultaneously, but Hades countered their onslaught, sensing that this divine power concentrated on the very essence of destruction.

It seemed displeased that its attack had been thwarted. Soon, streaks of golden light shot toward him. Instantly, he managed to block all the divine powers with the ability to kill gods.

Hades remained calm; under this onslaught, everything felt trivial.

Suddenly, he seized one of the golden lights, which transformed into a dagger in his hand.

The Sky Blade, an artifact that once belonged to the first God King, Uranus, was known for its history. In the battle against Uranus, Cronus had used this blade to sever his master's fate.

Since then, having defeated its original wielder, this artifact had transformed from a sky blade into a god-killing weapon. Cronus preferred to call it simply the golden dagger.

Holding the God-Killing Blade, Hades unleashed boundless divine power to suppress it. This god-killing power was formidable and could not be underestimated; otherwise, the consequences would be troublesome.

In a brief moment, Hades completely subdued the God-Killing Blade, imprinting his divine power and essence upon it. The golden dagger pulsed with terrifying energy.

Hades whispered softly, "The God-Killing Blade, such a divine tool, possesses immense power, yet it lacks the ability to slay gods. It's unfortunate that I cannot harness that power."

Calmly shaking his head, Hades understood that any god could potentially master the ability to kill gods, provided they were not already constrained by fate. The reason was simple: the power to kill gods was tied to the three god kings' struggle against Cronus. The vanquished are bound by their destinies, preventing Hades from acquiring such power.

After storing away the God-Killing Blade, Hades continued his search for the most precious treasures within the Titan treasury. Wisps of divine power radiated from him as he sought many mysterious artifacts.

In due time, Hades filled half of his magic star with treasures, and he still had more to uncover.

Suddenly, he sensed the resonance of the World Tree, prompting him to pause and examine the planet before him. It was a black planet, and the sound of the World Tree grew more pronounced.

Without hesitation, Hades made his way to this planet. Upon arrival, he found four orbs, each radiating the elemental powers of earth, water, fire, and wind. While they appeared ordinary, their resonance with the World Tree was extraordinary.

Hades began to perceive their significance and realized, "The four elements of the world—no wonder they resonate with the World Tree."

The World Tree represents the growth of a world, and as it flourishes, it births new realms, including separate domains like the Underworld.

In essence, the World Tree embodies the cycle of creation, while the Ouroboros symbolizes infinite power, representing the forces of earth and sky at the dawn of existence.

Furthermore, with the emergence of heaven and earth, the four elemental forces of creation—earth, water, fire, and wind—are fundamental to the World Tree's continued growth. These elements are invaluable; they cannot simply be conjured by the four major Nymphs. They are the primordial forces birthed at the world's inception.

In this moment, the four orbs contained these elemental powers. Absorbing them would require many additional steps, including the Sea of Life, the Protection of Earth, and the Foundation of Death—earth, sky, and the Underworld. The integration of these four components would push the World Tree to its peak state.

However, if the World Tree were to be born naturally, it might take millions or even tens of millions of years. Finding and absorbing these treasures is no simple task, and it would require considerable time and effort.
