Chapter 137 - The Game Is Over

"Roar!"

The monsters unleashed their furious screams, yet they could advance no further. Poseidon and Zeus acted in concert, their powers colliding with the relentless tide of beasts. Hades, too, unleashed his dominion, but despite their combined strength, they realized the futility of their efforts. Cronus remained seated, a mere spectator to their struggle.

The sheer number of monsters summoned through the space rifts was overwhelming, each one embodying the peak of Titan might. Even the three god kings found it arduous to break through this formidable barrier.

"This is troublesome," Hades stated, raising a hand. "Father God, let's conclude this game; I have no intention of wasting more time on this battle."

"Oh" Cronus replied, amusement dancing in his eyes. "Hades, I'm curious to see how you intend to end this."

Hades sensed that the battle was spiraling into absurdity; prolonging it served no purpose. With a determined stance, he summoned forth a massive abyssal beast, its gaping maw ready to consume everything in its path.

As the creature feasted, Poseidon and Zeus seized their chance. "Fall!" thundered Zeus. "Die!" roared Poseidon.

The two gods unleashed their powers—the essence of the Evil God and the God-killing Thunder. Hades gathered his own forces, combining the laws of death, darkness, and sleep into a single devastating thrust aimed at Cronus.

With a disdainful snort, Cronus conjured a colossal phantom with six arms, standing as a steadfast barrier against their onslaught. However, Hades had already vanished, appearing directly before Cronus, brandishing the Pluto sword for a decisive strike.

In a flash, the three legendary artifacts—the Pluto Sword, the Sea Emperor's Trident, and the Heavenly Scepter—descended upon Cronus in a synchronized assault. But Cronus merely chuckled, summoning a deep purple scythe that met their attacks with effortless grace.

The clash created a brilliant explosion of energy, casting radiant light across the battlefield. In that moment of chaos, the laws of the four gods coalesced into a massive energy sphere, drawing back all four figures as the power surged.

A colossal energy beam shot into the heavens, signaling the true beginning of their war. From the underworld, Hades' allies watched the unfolding spectacle.

Thanatos murmured, "The war has truly begun. Its outcome will determine everything."

Hypnos added, "Master Hades' victory is inevitable."

Hemera smiled, "Indeed! Hades will triumph."

Aether, the eldest, cautioned, "We must think beyond this war. Its conclusion will shape our future. If Hades falters, we will fall with him, but if he prevails, we need a strategy for what comes next."

The others nodded, considering the implications of their allies and foes. While Poseidon's sons and Zeus's followers deliberated their own paths, they all understood that participation in the Titan War was futile; their focus must be on the aftermath.

The gods knew well that in their realm, allies were fleeting, and rivals were ever-present. In this world of deities, every alliance hinged on utility, and survival often meant recognizing the shifting tides of power.
