Chereads / I! Pluto Hades / Chapter 118 - The Three God Kings, Prometheus' Consideration

Chapter 118 - The Three God Kings, Prometheus' Consideration

Hades walked step by step, and with each step, he brought only death and darkness. Countless gods were swallowed by Hades; even as they struggled to resist, even as they fought with all their might, filled with determination, they faced endless despair.

They had no means of resistance, passively enduring the pain, falling forever. Life had come to an end; their souls, divine thoughts, everything was annihilated by death, absorbed into the Underworld. No matter the type of divine power, it would be decomposed by the Underworld, transformed into nourishment, and ultimately become part of Hades' growth.

This is the fate of those dead gods.

Monstrous waves devoured everything. On the battlefield of the sea realm, Poseidon, wearing a blue robe and wielding a trident, resembled a war god rather than a sea god.

Having broken through to the god king level, Poseidon's divine power surpassed anything from his past. Calmly, he defeated all opposing gods, bringing the entire sea realm under his control.

As for the earth, heaven, and Underworld? Poseidon didn't care. He was a serious individual; what his subordinates managed was most important. Everything else could be dealt with later; those matters were not his priority.

The sea realm was the core of his existence.

"Hades."

"Zeus."

Sensing the two divine powers in the distance, Poseidon murmured softly. Raising his hand, terrifying divine power surged forth, gradually consuming everything.

"Thunder!"

"Eternal Sanction!"

As the brilliance of thunder resonated, Zeus held his thunder scepter, his eyes filled with vast lightning, embodying the very essence of the nemesis of the gods.

With the sound of crackling thunder, Zeus's gaze glowed with an intimidating light. He looked around, the killing intent in his eyes barely concealed, filled with pride and dominion.

"Humph!"

Snorting arrogantly, Zeus surveyed the battlefield, his eyes filled with endless arrogance. "Is this all that's left? Atlas, do you still wish to resist?"

After many battles spanning 70,000 years, Zeus had spent each day engulfed in terrifying war. During this prolonged conflict, he had finally broken through, advancing from titan main god to the god king.

Now, Zeus's divine power had reached an incomprehensibly vast level; that eternal power could devour everything. Standing here, this invincible Thunder God King radiated a brilliant light; his eternal thunder had become the ultimate brilliance in this world.

"Cough, cough, cough"

Atlas coughed weakly, kneeling on one knee, and said softly, "Zeus! I cannot surrender; this is my fate. I cannot betray His Majesty like my elder brother, for everything about me was given by His Majesty. I cannot do this."

As the younger brother of Prometheus, Atlas had wanted to follow his brother but felt he could not. He had been appreciated by Cronus and promoted step by step. Atlas's rise to where he was today was due to Cronus.

He couldn't betray Cronus. As long as Cronus lived, he would not back down.

Zeus's gaze was cold and proud as he replied indifferently, "Loyalty is righteousness! I appreciate your loyalty. Prometheus, take good care of Atlas. I don't want him to show himself until the battle of the Titans concludes."

"Understood!"

"Master Zeus!"

Prometheus accepted the task, and then Zeus departed.

"Atlas!"

"Brother!"

Atlas looked at Prometheus, bowing his head in shame, as he found himself at odds with his elder brother.

Prometheus smiled and said, "It's alright! You had no choice in this matter. What you did was not wrong. Do you see the majesty and authority of Lord Zeus? After this battle of the Titans, I hope you recognize it."

"!"

Atlas nodded. "Master Zeus is a god-king worthy of respect. If His Majesty is defeated, I will have no hesitation."

"Good!"

This was the most gratifying outcome for Prometheus. Atlas's willingness to obey demonstrated human strength.

Hades' Underworld gods should not be underestimated; they are the heirs of the two Primordial gods.

As heirs of the Primordial gods, it is not difficult for them to grow into Titan Main Gods in the future.

The four goddesses of fate may seem a little weaker, but don't be deceived; they are actually a unified whole.

Moreover, as the four goddesses who control destiny, the laws they wield are terrifying. Prometheus was unaware that the seventy-two demon gods conceived in the Underworld, if successfully birthed, would inevitably grow into the main gods of the Titans. Other demon gods would at least reach the level of common main gods, the weakest of first-rate gods.

As for Poseidon's subordinates? Poseidon commands five pillars, along with 3,000 river gods and 3,000 sea gods, this power far exceeds Zeus's.

Although Zeus seems to be showcasing his strength, even with the assistance of Prometheus and Metis, along with the support of the three sisters, he lacks true Titan Main Gods aligned with him. No, there are none.

Whether Prometheus or Metis, they are just main gods. Although the three sisters are Titan Main Gods, do they truly support Zeus? No! Currently, there are no Titan main gods who belong to Zeus, which is quite embarrassing. Prometheus needs to gather more subordinates for Zeus.

Prometheus is a clever individual, and he understands that the future position of god king will require struggle among the three god kings. Hades and Poseidon are not interested in that position.

For these two, if they can exchange the position of god king for greater benefits, then it poses no issue. After all, a god king is like a Zhou emperor with princes, what does it matter? If they don't follow the announcement, they can do nothing to him! This is the reality; he can act as he pleases without repercussions.

Thus, this is Prometheus's serious dilemma.

The greater the power he holds, the more he can separate the lesser benefits; otherwise, it will become extremely troublesome.

As a God King, he can only manage the heavens; the earth belongs to him.

For the goddess of the earth, the Underworld belongs to Hades, and the sea belongs to Poseidon.

What happens then?

Isn't this merely being a Heavenly Emperor? It's a disgrace!

Thus, Prometheus remains vigilant, carefully considering many issues and never lowering his guard.
