In the awe-inspiring atmosphere of Hades, he walked out of the time war wheel step by step, but stopped after a few steps, waiting quietly.
The three goddesses of the Titans were not fools. Theia, the goddess of knowledge, would certainly have more preparations behind them. The time battle wheel, a perfect battle formation that integrated offense and defense and could not be broken by pure power, was their best way to block him.
Dodge?
Hades didn't bother to dodge.
If he chose to evade against three beings weaker than himself, he might start to doubt his own strength, potentially causing problems in his soul. No matter how he cultivated, he could not move further without confidence.
"Hades!"
Phoebe emerged slowly from the Underworld. She looked deeply at him and said softly, "As expected, you have never left. Just like His Majesty, your pride won't allow you to retreat, but that pride will cost you your life."
Hades remained silent, merely gazing at Phoebe. His spiritual thoughts swept out, and endless death began to manifest.
"Eternal death."
He spoke lightly, invoking a fighting skill he had created, bringing the law of death to its terrifying extreme. The law of death enveloped Phoebe, and given the power gap between the Titan Main God and God King, she was almost certain to perish unless she ignited her ultimate power. But wasn't that precisely what Hades anticipated?
However, Hades' death energy vanished suddenly, and Phoebe remained in midair, her expression unchanged. "Hades, it's useless! This place is specifically prepared for you. I obtained this treasure from His Majesty to target you."
With her words, a massive cage materialized, gradually enveloping Hades completely.
As the terrifying cage appeared, Hades felt his divine power, laws, and even his connection to the World Tree nearly severed.
"..."
Realizing this, the nine-pointed star on Hades' forehead burst into light, and the Pluto helmet instantly resisted the special force's erosion. He murmured, "The inner cage of eternity."
"Artifact!"
"Useless!" The figure of Tethys emerged, stating calmly, "The corruption of the eternal cage cannot be stopped, even by Primordial gods. It will completely destroy all your possessions as time progresses."
Imprisoned by divine power, laws, and artifacts, even with an artifact forged by the three one-eyed Titan brothers, it was all meaningless.
"The Pluto Helmet!"
"Aura, divine power, soul, and even the concept of existence will be hidden by special artifacts forged by the three brothers. To thank them for saving you, the artifacts are the Pluto Helmet, Neptune's Trident, and Thunderbolt."
Theia appeared, holding an incredibly heavy book, calmly flipping through its pages, her eyes indifferent.
"Eternal prison."
"The Book of Knowledge."
"And..."
"Judgment scales."
Hades regarded the three goddesses, who surrounded him in a character shape, each holding different artifacts.
The Eternal Cage, as legend has it, was created by Chaos at the dawn of the world to punish disobedient gods. It was later handed to Gaia, who passed it to Uranus. After Uranus was defeated by Cronus, it became Cronus's possession.
All imprisoned gods, divine powers, laws, and artifacts would be gradually sealed, ultimately rendering the soul, divine body, and thoughts dormant.
The Book of Knowledge, wielded by Theia since her inception, contained all knowledge of the vastness.
Judgment Libra, an artifact held by the Goddess of Judgment, Themis, was also forged at the beginning of her existence. It wielded incredible divine power. Judgment was not based on good and evil, but on the goddess's heart.
This was a game of the soul.
"Hades!" Theia stated softly. "You possess much knowledge from the Primordial gods, Erebus and Nyx. Your close ties with them are recorded."
"What a pity! The Primordial gods cannot casually intervene in the replacement of the divine system. Today, you will lose here and become a living dead forever."
Hades replied quietly, "Theia, breaking the eternal cage is very simple. Once your divine power fades, the cage will naturally unseal."
"Impossible!" Theia declared without hesitation. "According to the Book of Knowledge, you will never escape the eternal cage. There is no such thing as a King's Helmet."
Clearly, Theia had absolute confidence. As the goddess of knowledge, she believed too much in the Book of Knowledge, which would cost her dearly.
Hades continued, "Theia, you may not know that the Book of Knowledge has loopholes. When a god's power surpasses that of a Titan Main God, it will stop recording. The essence of the Helmet of Hades, you truly understand..."
The three goddesses felt a slight unease. They knew all too well that relying solely on strength against Hades would be a joke. Their hope lay in the eternal cage's seal. If Hades managed to escape...
Without hesitation, the three goddesses exchanged glances.
Pink flames erupted as their ultimate powers ignited, pouring into the eternal cage, causing its sealing speed to double.
As the eternal cage shrank rapidly, it began to constrict around Hades. Once it became small enough to confine him, escaping would be impossible.
Tethys, too, fueled her ultimate power, using the Judgment scales to block Hades, aiming to weaken him. The alliance formed by the three goddesses presented a sound strategy against any god.
In this moment, even if Hyperion stood before them, defeat seemed certain. Yet here stood Hades.
