Chapter 108 - Mephistopheles, Behemoth, Nassau, Leonardo, Barberet

Wave after wave.

The number of devils seems endless. As time goes on, the divine power within the countless barriers becomes increasingly terrifying, as if some monstrous force is being bred, ready to devour everything in its path.

It seems that Hades has stepped into a desperate situation. With each passing moment, he risks being consumed by the terrifying enchantment left by Satan.

"Die."

The law of death surged like a wave, sweeping away the devils in an instant. Hades searched for something, extending his divine sense through the divine power, seeking the key core; the core of the enchantment.

As time passed, his divine power was corroded and devoured repeatedly, forcing Hades to retract his divine sense. With the law of death continuing to spread, he moved toward a specific corner, as if he had found a way to break the enchantment.

Amidst the dark red haze, a dark red crystal glowed brightly. Inside the crystal was a strange and terrifying figure, resembling a human but with horns, exuding an eerie aura.

"Um?!"

Sensing Hades' arrival, the figure suddenly opened its eyes and burst forth from the crystal. Its ferocious gaze radiated a terrifying energy, waiting quietly.

"Barberet."

This demon, with its human form and demonic appearance, was one of the fallen angels, a demon who had signed contracts with mortals, qualified to be called a demon king.

"Roar!"

What responded to Hades was a wild roar. This was not the true Barberet but rather a version created by Satan. Even Satan could casually eliminate this incarnation, generating a new Barberet at will. However, it was far weaker than the original; Barberet, once an angel created by God, had become a demon king with immense strength; at least a Titan Main God.

As for this one?

"Main God!"

Hades murmured softly, "Satan, if your seals and barriers are only this, they are meaningless to me."

Absorb!

Devour!

Corrode!

While all divine power and thoughts were obstructed, Hades was different. His kingdom of God, represented by the World Tree and Ouroboros, encompassed the laws of death and rebirth, the sky and earth, and infinity.

Holding these five laws, Hades' divine power was nearly limitless. Attempting to consume Hades' power was a futile endeavor. Thus, although this terrifying barrier posed some trouble, it was manageable.

"Roar!"

Barberet launched an attack with a furious roar, but a magic star emerged from Hades' body, gradually consuming the flailing Barberet and refining it into dark clothing. As a creation of Satan, Barberet retained the personality it was meant to have, and the magic star served as a perfect vessel.

Earthstar Barberet.

After resolving Barberet, Hades continued on to the next position.

The main purpose of this enchantment was simple: to absorb a god's divine power, laws, and thoughts through the three special laws of corrosion, devouring, and absorption, eventually trapping them to death over time.

Normally, this would be a straightforward enchantment. By locating a core seal point like Barberet, one could dismantle it. However, the problem was that Satan had arranged this enchantment. As a true Primordial god, it would not be easy to overcome.

Hades possessed the World Tree, Ouroboros, the helmet of Pluto, and many other artifacts, resulting in an appearance that seemed simple. This only indicated that Satan had underestimated Hades.

He had never anticipated Hades would be so formidable.

"Roar!"

Again, the same roar came forth, this time from a female demon resembling a fly, with a peculiar posture. This demon, named Nasu, originated from a different mythical world.

Yet, given Satan's power, creating one was no challenge. The result? The second core point was absorbed by the magic star once more.

Tianzhuxing Nasu.

"Roar!"

The third seal point revealed a terrifying giant beast, reminiscent of a hippopotamus. Its tail was as straight as a fir, its muscles were as strong as stone, and its bones as hard as copper and iron. Its name was Behemoth.

In some tales, Behemoth was one of the seven monarchs of hell, governing one of the seven deadly sins.

This was nothing short of a joke.

Behemoth and Leviathan had both been lured by Satan to join the ranks of hell. However, compared to others, Leviathan was indeed one of the Seven Lords of Hell.

Behemoth?

Heh.

It was merely a giant war beast, dismissed by many. Normally, it was just tossed into hell without a second glance. The third core point was also consumed by the magic star.

Lone Star Behemoth.

The demon at the fourth seal point was considerably weaker.

Hades sensed it had been casually created by Satan.

Lucifer, one of the seven lords of hell, had fashioned a knight for his court.

This member, Leonardo, was likely of average strength, just another ordinary demon form, and was again consumed by the magic star.

Remote Star Leonardo.

Finally!

Hades arrived at the core of the enchantment seal, the final fifth seal point, marked by a pentagram.

As he stepped into this space, he felt the three laws contained here were even more formidable.

Even the range of the helmet of Pluto was suppressed to its weakest point.

"Hades!"

"First meeting!"

Before him stood a figure with the appearance of a devil but possessing an elegant, gentlemanly demeanor. The figure wore a peculiar smile, and Hades knew instantly that this was the real deal.

"Mephistopheles."

Hades softly stated the identity of the demon.

Originally a figure from Faust's tale, Mephistopheles had evolved under Satan's influence to become a demon king in hell, known as the Destroyer and the Liar. He was a demon pursuing Faust's soul.

Mephistopheles was a terrifying entity. Under Satan's guidance, he had gradually grown and evolved to become a demon king, possessing the power of a true Titan Main God. Most crucially, he sought to become God King.

As a demon born from Faust's life, he needed to devour Faust's soul to transform into a God King. But Faust was an angel appointed by Jehovah.

It was no easy task to swallow him whole!

Just as Mephistopheles could ascend to God King by consuming Faust, Faust could also achieve God King by completely vanquishing Mephistopheles, thus becoming the supreme angel.

This was a fateful symbol. Mephistopheles and Faust were like the two sides of a coin, each waiting to absorb and defeat the other, allowing for further sublimation.

Yet now, Mephistopheles had come here.

Hades remarked, "To bring a Titan Main God from other great worlds into this realm is truly a testament to Satan's prowess."

"Hee hee hee"

Mephistopheles replied gracefully, "Hades, allow me to take your soul to meet His Majesty Satan! Your soul will be the finest gift for Him."

Scarlet eyes glimmered in Mephistopheles' gaze, and his elegant figure morphed into a terrifying and grotesque devilish form.
