Chapter 49 - Return To The Heart Of The Ocean, Metis' Proposal

Hades, upon returning to the Underworld, finalized the training plan for the Underworld fighters and clarified his own objectives. Regaining control as the king of the Underworld this time seemed to offer little benefit, aside from breaking through to the rank of Titan Main God.

However, this perspective is fundamentally different. The improvement from 1 is slow but steady, while the leap from 0 to 1 is the most challenging. Hades has now achieved that crucial transition, which is immensely significant.

After addressing these existing matters, Hades left the Underworld. Although these issues were minor, they were foundational. If managed well, they would pave a smoother path for the future.

Hades, as a god whose rationality surpasses sensibility, would never allow any problems to arise. The Underworld, its inhabitants, and the Underworld fighters all had comprehensive plans. Although those plans might not keep pace with rapid changes, Hades was known for his meticulous preparations.

Sea World! Heart of the Ocean!

Hades moved swiftly, arriving at the heart of the ocean in an instant. He skillfully opened all the seals and barriers, stepping into the heart once more.

At that moment, Poseidon, Zeus, and others were gathered, seemingly awaiting Hades' arrival.

"Hades!" Zeus exclaimed with a smile. "It appears you've regained control as the ghost king."

"Um." Hades nodded indifferently.

Both Poseidon and Zeus had also broken through to Titan Main God, indicating they had reclaimed the authority of the Emperor of the Sea and the Emperor of Heaven. Otherwise, it would have been impossible for the three brothers to achieve such breakthroughs without regaining their powers.

Soon, the three sat together at the center of the heart of the ocean.

Zeus took the lead and stated, "We have regained our authority. Next, we must declare war against our father, the Father God!"

Poseidon interrupted bluntly, "I refuse."

The atmosphere turned tense.

Zeus frowned slightly. "Poseidon, what do you mean?"

Poseidon replied coolly, "Zeus, even if we've regained our power, you should know that in terms of strength, we stand no chance against the Father God. Even with the Twelve Titans, dressed in Chu Zhen, they could defeat us."

"…"

Zeus fell silent.

Indeed, Poseidon was right. They shouldn't assume they could easily wield their authority just because it was restored. They had reclaimed it through the lament of the gods, not by strength. Coming back, the combined efforts of the three might not suffice against the Titan God King.

Moreover, their regained power was merely a step up to the main god level. While each possessed their own destiny treasures, the Titan God still held Chu Zhen.

Facing the invincible Titan God King, not to mention Hyperion, dubbed the strongest of all, the odds were certainly not in their favor.

"Chu Zhen!" Zeus frowned, feeling a headache coming on.

Chu Zhen was the treasure crafted by Gaia for the Twelve Titans. Without it, they dared not claim victory, especially not against the Titans empowered by it. To make matters worse, they lacked their own fighting attire, which was quite embarrassing.

Zeus remained silent while Poseidon held his tongue. Throughout the discussion, Hades observed quietly. The current Zeus was indeed too inexperienced; compared to the cunning Zeus of the future, the difference was stark.

Hades knew that in the Titan War, Zeus's victory had been largely due to Metis's advice as a strategist; otherwise, success would not have come so easily.

"I have an idea," Metis suddenly spoke.

"Um?!" Zeus snapped back to attention but maintained his composure. "What do you think, Metis?"

Metis, standing behind Zeus, explained softly, "What the three of you lack is a powerful artifact to combat Chu Zhen. Moreover, the goddess of the earth not only birthed the twelve main gods of the Titans, but she also has six children: the one-eyed titan and the hundred-armed titan."

"In the realm of legends, the one-eyed titan is the mightiest craftsman, capable of forging artifacts comparable to Chu Zhen."

"And the hundred-armed titan possesses strength rivaling that of the Lord Titan, perhaps even surpassing it."

"Hmm"

As Metis spoke, the three god kings contemplated her words.

Poseidon asked indifferently, "Where are they now?"

Metis continued, "The one-eyed titan has been feared by Uranus since birth and has been sealed deep within Tartarus, which is essentially the Underworld. The hundred-armed titan aided Cronus in defeating Uranus and was subsequently sealed in the depths of the Underworld by Uranus."

"Um!" Zeus pondered for a moment before suggesting, "So, you propose we release the one-eyed titan and the hundred-armed titan?"

Metis nodded. "Exactly. If we release the one-eyed titan, he can forge artifacts comparable to Chu Zhen for the three of you. And given the hundred-armed titan's anger toward the Titan God King, he is likely to seize any opportunity for revenge."

Hades secretly admired Metis's insight. "She truly is the goddess of wisdom. She can pinpoint the crux of the matter effortlessly. The one-eyed titan and the hundred-armed titan would likely pay any price to escape their seals."

Moreover, they would be crucial in the battle against the Titans.

An artifact forged by the one-eyed titan combined with the immense strength of the hundred-armed titan could prove to be vital in facing the Titan God.
