In response to God of War's rather unsportsmanlike declaration, God of Pain flashed a theatrical grin, accompanied by an eerie "hehehehe" laugh.
Of course, since he was still wearing his mascot suit, no one could actually see his expression. Instead, his strange laugh only caught the attention of a nearby church official acting as a referee.
"Contestant, are you feeling unwell?" the referee asked, concerned.
God of Pain chuckled. "I'm perfectly fine. Though he may not be in a while."
God of War raised an eyebrow. "What on earth is that sound supposed to mean?"

After an intense back-and-forth match, it was finally time for the decisive third round.
God of War opened with an anesthesia punch.
God of Pain immediately burst into laughter.
"Again with this move? You think you can knock me out like before?"
"Pain Nullification!"
