Chapter 26 - Chapter Twenty-Six: The Awakening of the Idol System

As Jiwon prepared for the day of their debut, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. The Idol System, which had been a constant presence in his life since the beginning of his journey, had gone quiet. He hadn't received any updates or tasks in days, and while part of him appreciated the brief respite, another part felt a sense of unease.

After finishing his morning routine, Jiwon sat on his bed, contemplating the silence of the system. Just as he was about to dismiss it from his mind, a holographic screen flickered to life in front of him, startling him.

"IDOL SYSTEM 2.0 INITIATED."

The voice was crisp and clear, a slight upgrade from the previous version. Jiwon's heart raced with curiosity. "What? You've been quiet for so long. What's going on?"

The screen transformed, displaying various graphics and stats. "The IDOL SYSTEM has been upgraded to Version 2.0. You are now on the path to mastering your vocal and dance abilities. Your current skill levels have been assessed, and the system will guide you from Level A to Level S."

Jiwon blinked in disbelief. "Level S? That's the highest rank! What do I need to do?"

"Your tasks will be tailored to enhance your vocal skills and choreography. You will receive targeted training routines that will push your limits. Please be prepared for intense sessions."

Before Jiwon could respond, the screen displayed a new task list.

Vocal Training Task:

Daily Vocal Exercises: Practice for 4 hours daily to strengthen your range.Technique Enhancement: Focus on breath control and resonance.Song Interpretation: Choose one song and perform it in different styles to develop versatility.

Dance Training Task:

Choreography Mastery: Learn and perfect two new dance routines each week.Stamina Building: Engage in 3 hours of high-intensity dance cardio daily.Style Diversification: Experiment with various dance styles, including hip-hop, contemporary, and jazz.

"Wow," Jiwon murmured, feeling both excited and intimidated by the prospect of this new training regime. "But I have to debut today! How can I start this now?"

"Your debut performance is important, but this training will enhance your abilities significantly. You will receive immediate benefits during your debut if you follow the enhanced regimen," the system replied, its tone firm yet encouraging.

Jiwon took a deep breath, considering the implications. "Okay, I'll give it my all. I want to be the best I can be."

"CONFIRMATION RECEIVED. TRAINING INITIATED."

Without warning, Jiwon felt a surge of energy coursing through him. His body tingled, and the system seamlessly integrated itself into his daily routine, setting reminders and guiding him through warm-ups.

As he made his way to the practice studio, Jiwon could feel a newfound determination fueling him. The weight of expectations hung heavily in the air, but he was no longer just the boy who had been bullied. He was Jiwon, the leader of Atelier, and he was ready to show the world what he could do.

Arriving at the studio, he found the other boys already gathered, stretching and warming up. Their faces lit up when they saw him.

"Hey, Jiwon! You ready for today?" one of the boys called out, a grin spreading across his face.

"Absolutely! We've trained hard for this moment," Jiwon replied, his voice filled with enthusiasm.

As they began their rehearsal for "Rise Up," Jiwon felt the energy of the group around him. He was determined to integrate his new training into their performance. The system had equipped him with a greater understanding of his vocal strength, and he focused on breathing correctly as they danced.

"Remember to project your voices during the chorus!" he reminded the boys, who nodded eagerly. They began to run through the song, and Jiwon felt the rhythm and melody resonate within him.

As they reached the climax of the song, he took a deep breath, focusing on the vocal techniques the system had provided him. His voice soared, blending with the harmonies around him. The other boys watched him with admiration, and Jiwon felt a wave of pride wash over him.

"Wow, Jiwon! Your voice sounds even better!" another member exclaimed, beaming at him.

"Thanks! I've been working hard, and I think it's paying off!" he replied, a smile spreading across his face.

After their rehearsal, Jiwon gathered the boys for a quick meeting. "I just want to say how proud I am of all of you. We've come so far, and no matter what happens today, let's remember that we're in this together."

The boys nodded, their expressions serious yet filled with determination. They shared a group hug, a ritual they had adopted to boost morale before their performances.

As they finished their warm-up, Jiwon felt the adrenaline rush through him. The anticipation of their debut filled the air, and he was ready to channel that energy into their performance.

When it was time to leave for the venue, he glanced at his reflection in the mirror. He could see the hard work etched on his face—a handsome, determined young man ready to step into the spotlight.

"Let's show them who we are," Jiwon said, his voice steady.

"Yeah! Atelier on three!" one of the boys shouted.

"1, 2, 3—Atelier!"

With their spirits high, they left the practice studio and made their way to the venue. Jiwon felt a mix of excitement and nerves, but he was ready. The IDOL SYSTEM 2.0 was there to support him, and together with his teammates, they were prepared to rise up and shine. The world was waiting, and he was determined to give them a performance they would never forget.
