Chapter 7 - Reflection of power

Sasuke stood in the small kitchen of his dorm room, the sound of boiling water filling the air as he prepared a cup of ramen. His thoughts drifted to the mysterious man, Syougo Kinugasa—the one responsible for his reincarnation. A man with such power, capable of transporting him to an entirely different world, had to be no ordinary figure. Sasuke stirred the noodles absentmindedly, his eyes narrowed in suspicion.

"To send me to a different world and seal my powers... Who could possibly do that?" he muttered to himself.

He compared Syougo's strength to the Sage of Six Paths, a being of immense power. Even in Sasuke's experience, it seemed unlikely that the Sage could do something like this. Syougo, if anything, was potentially more dangerous than he had initially thought. He needed to find a way to break whatever seal was blocking his chakra and regain his full strength—quickly.

The boiling ceased, signaling the ramen was done. Sasuke set the cup on the table and sat down, staring at it. For a moment, a flicker of nostalgia passed through him as he thought about Naruto. Naruto, the one who loved ramen more than anything. Was he still alive, or had he also met his end in that fateful clash? The thought tugged at something deep inside him, but Sasuke quickly pushed it aside. There was no room for sentimentality here.

He ate the ramen swiftly, focusing more on his thoughts than the taste of the food. His mind churned with possibilities—plans on how to regain his powers, thoughts about the mysterious man who had brought him here, and whether this world was hiding other dangers he had yet to discover.

Once he finished, he stood and headed to the bathroom. The feel of the water from the shower on his skin was another reminder of how different this world was. So much modern convenience, so many things foreign to him. And yet, the structure of society, the human nature, all felt familiar—just like in his old world.

As he dried himself and headed to bed, Sasuke's thoughts shifted to the future. He needed to gather more information, figure out what role he would play in this school, and, more importantly, how to use it to his advantage. Lying down on the unfamiliar bed, he let his body relax. His Sharingan activated for a brief moment as if instinctively, but there were no threats, no hidden chakra signatures around.

The world seemed peaceful, for now.

His eyes slowly closed, but his mind remained sharp, formulating strategies for what was to come.

Sasuke Uchiha did not rest easily—never had, never would.
