Once the Rodrigos were gone, Diego quietly slipped into his father's study. Mr. Castillo looked up, startled to see his son's determined expression.
"Father," Diego said, shutting the door behind him. "We need to talk."
Mr. Castillo leaned back in his chair, his face weary. "What is it, Diego? Haven't we suffered enough?"
"No," Diego said firmly. "Because we're about to lose everything unless we act now."
Mr. Castillo frowned, his brows furrowing. "What are you talking about?"
Diego began, his voice sharp and low. "I've been investigating Antonio for months, and I found out he's nothing but liar and a fraud. He has been scheming to get control of the family businesses. Once he marries Diana, he'll claim everything you've built and ruin us all."
Mr. Castillo's eyes widened in shock. "What are you saying?"
