The morning sunlight spilled into the grand dining room of the Castillo mansion, reflecting off the polished silverware and crystal glasses. The table was already set, and the smell of freshly brewed coffee and warm pastries filled the air. Mr. and Mrs. Castillo sat at the head of the table, engaging in light conversation with Mr. and Mrs. Rodrigo, who had come to discuss business. Diego, sitting at the far end, appeared less interested, picking on his food with a frown. Antonio, seated closer to Mr. Castillo, looked entirely too pleased with himself.
Alejandro stood nearby, dressed impeccably as always, his professional demeanor masking the events of the night before. His mind was still on Diana...the way her body had responded to him, the way her muffled moans had driven him to the brink of madness. Yet, here he was, forced to act as though nothing had happened.
Mr. Castillo sipped his coffee, glancing at the clock. "Where's Diana? She's usually punctual."
