Leon and the group strolled deeper into the forest, chatting casually as they moved. The distant sounds of goblin chatter didn't faze them—they had already decided this area was theirs to clear out.
The first goblin camp they came across was almost laughable. A handful of goblins sat around a poorly built fire, gnawing on scraps of meat. Leon didn't even need to draw his weapon. With a flick of his hand, a surge of mana swept through the camp, sending the goblins flying. Millim darted in, her wolf Benz at her side, finishing off the stragglers with ease.
"That's one," Leon said casually, brushing dirt off his coat as they moved on.
The next camp was a bit larger, led by a hobgoblin wielding a rusty sword. "Ooh, this one looks important," Naval teased, summoning a glowing arrow of energy. She loosed it, taking down two goblins before they could even scream.
