Soon after, Lana, now dressed in sleek black clothes that fit her assassin role perfectly, left for her advancement outside the city. She was cautious, knowing that any disturbance caused during her advancement might alert Brian if she stayed within the city walls.

"Well, looks like it's just the two of us now," Leon said with a smile, gently patting Millie's head.

"You should go and do your usual stuff, but don't leave the house, okay? I'm not as strict as your sister, but we need to stay safe," Leon added with a light tone. Millie nodded and returned to her room quietly.

Now alone, Leon stretched his arms, feeling the tension ease. "Alright, time to get myself a class too," he mumbled to himself, a hint of excitement bubbling up.

With the unknows class token still in his inventory, Leon prepared to use it, hoping the class he would gain would help him change his fate and bring him closer to his goal.

"I wonder what my compatibility is," Leon mumbled as he gazed at the round token in his hand. It was like a coin, made of a black metallic material, with intricate red carvings etched on its surface.

"Hmm, I've died, so maybe I'll get a death-related class... but I've also been reborn, so perhaps something connected to life," Leon mused. "And since my soul has traveled through space and time, maybe I'll get something related to that." He wondered as he placed the token on the table.

Leon pricked his finger and let a drop of blood fall onto the token. As the blood spread over the surface, the token glowed for a moment before shooting into Leon's chest. He glanced down, expecting some dramatic transformation, but nothing seemed to happen. "Hmm, I guess I'm still waiting for something to happen," he thought,

[Host has received a class,] Cherry chirped, perched on Leon's shoulder. Suddenly, his mind was bombarded with the information of his new class, and the Tower system came into view.

Leon stood there for a moment, taking in everything that had just happened. "Paradox Mage? No information, huh?" He scratched his head, confused. "Figures… it wouldn't be straightforward." The debuff worried him slightly, knowing that his progress would be slower.

"Cherry, tell me more about this class," Leon asked, hoping his own system might offer some insight despite the Tower system earlier vagueness.

Cherry's voice chimed in promptly,

Leon looked at the options and asked, "What is meant by choosing a path?"

"hmm, give me a description of each path" Leon said as Cherry nodded.

1. Summoner

A Summoner is a mage who specializes in calling forth creatures, spirits, or elemental beings from other realms or dimensions to fight or aid them. They command and control powerful entities that fight on their behalf, often manipulating the battlefield with sheer numbers or powerful summoned beings.

Strengths: Versatile due to various summons, crowd control, battlefield dominance.

Weaknesses: Dependent on the strength of their summons; without them, they can be vulnerable.

2. Necromancer

A Necromancer wields power over life and death, primarily focusing on reanimating the dead or draining life force. They summon skeletons, zombies, and other undead to serve them and may curse or drain the life energy of enemies.

Strengths: Raises undead armies, powerful in long battles, life-drain spells.

Weaknesses: Often considered morally dark; some limitations in environments without dead bodies.

3. Elementalist

An Elementalist draws their power from the natural elements: fire, water, earth, air, and sometimes other forces like lightning, ice, and magma. They are masters of elemental manipulation, using these primal forces to attack, defend, or alter their surroundings.

Strengths: Raw, destructive power, high versatility with elemental spells.

Weaknesses: Can be weak to opposing elements and require focus on elemental balance.

4. Chronomancer

A Chronomancer manipulates the flow of time, bending it to their will. They can slow or speed up time, rewind events, or even glimpse into the future. They excel in battlefield control by distorting the flow of time for themselves or their enemies.

Strengths: Time-based spells, battlefield control, foresight abilities.

Weaknesses: Often complex and situational, and time manipulation can come with dangerous risks or paradoxes.

5. Astromancer

An Astromancer draws power from the celestial bodies—stars, planets, and the void of space. They can harness cosmic energy to create gravitational fields, shoot meteorites, manipulate space, and tap into the mysteries of the universe. Astromancers are particularly skilled in bending space itself, allowing for powerful spatial manipulation, including teleportation.

Strengths: Cosmic-scale power, spatial manipulation, strong AoE attacks.

Weaknesses: Powers may have slow casting times, tied to celestial cycles.

6. Tamer

A Tamer forms bonds with beasts, monsters, or mystical creatures. They train, summon, and control these creatures, using them as powerful allies in combat. Tamers often develop strong synergies with their companions, becoming stronger as their bond deepens.

Strengths: Versatile companion-based combat, the stronger the bond, the stronger the Tamer.

Weaknesses: Heavily reliant on the strength and survival of their tamed creatures.

7. Warlock

A Warlock draws their power from dark pacts with otherworldly entities like demons, spirits, or ancient gods. They gain access to forbidden magic and are skilled in curses, dark rituals, and shadowy spells. Their magic often comes with a price, usually in the form of consequences for using dark power.

Strengths: Powerful and versatile magic, curses, debuffs, strong destructive abilities.

Weaknesses: Often requires making risky pacts or facing consequences for wielding forbidden magic.
