"Daniella, food is ready"Jason said,hearing that voice I ran downstairs with immediate alacrity cause I was famished ,I met my mom and Jason setting up the dinning table, so I went to help them . While eating my mom asked an unexpected question
"Daniella ,are you really sure of what you are getting yourself into"she asked,I was confused cause I didn't Know what she talking about
"What I'm I getting into"I asked waiting for a reply I didn't even know what to say cause I was really confused .
"I'm talking about Harvard ,baby girl I don't have enough money to pay the fees,you Know we are still paying rent,water and so many bills" she replied . I didn't want my mom thinking to much , because since my dad left ,it was really hard for my mom,but God in his gracious mercy has been good to us
"Mom,I will take a part-time job or two or more jobs paying at high price,mom I really love Harvard,don't make my dreams shattered"I told her with tears in my voice . I left my food instantly and ran to my room cause I couldn't hold the cry . I took my phone and failed my BFF number ,it rang "grang,grang,grang" she picked it up . "Hello bestie"I called her what I loved to call her .
"Daniella how are you doing"she asked
"Fine " I sounded sadly
"Are you still going for the shopping,I wanna help you select the trending clothes"Brittany said. I didn't know how to tell Brittany my mom doesn't have money for the fees talkless of shopping bills,what if she later finds out,I thought
"Brittany,you see I will let you know when we will go I'm not in the mood now"I told her sadly.
"Daniella what do you mean you are resuming in the next 2 days , you gotta go tomorrow" she said ,I didn't want to say anything cause I was furious at the moment,so I kept shut , Brittany kept urging me to let her know the reason I won't be going for shopping and I couldn't hold it again
"We don't have money"I bursted out with tears as I yelled over the phone .

"You go to a nice school,drive cars,wear expensive clothes ,your parents are rich, Brittany don't you get it, I envy you "I said . I was expecting her to comfort me or give me a word of consolation ,instead she hanged up on me , immediately she hanged up,I threw my phone and started crying , I've always wanted a life like Brittany's . I really cried until my eyes were pale , then I got up and took my phone,I realised my phone screen has been broken, I shouted.
