During the days before the expedition, Kang spent them finishing matters like collecting the weapon supply, tanks, and receiving the hunters of Vanguard. Once done with those matters, Kang spent some time replenishing his blood and practicing replication.
Since he was the supreme leader, Kang had to maintain his image among the hunters. He couldn't possibly go out in his casual suit attire, could he? He thought it would be something morally striking. As such, Kang raised his blood to two hundred thousand, intended to activate his crimson armor at lower rank from the start of the expedition to its end!
Finally, the day of the expedition arrived followed by everyone gathering at the Golden Sun's building before boarding the armored trucks Kang bought for the raid. Just as expected, everyone was dressed in metallic armor empowered with mana stones, made to protect their lives.
