He didn't directly guide him, instead, he was pretty much using the footwork and allowing him to replicate it while they fought. Although it looked slow to his eye, Kang guessed his speed had to be high to a certain point to leave behind those images.
"Not a bad idea anyway, I should try it," Kang spoke before mirroring the heavenly demon's footwork to a certain degree before clashing against him once again.
"Wow, that was fast and impressive, but can you do this?" The heavenly demon spoke before altering his footwork to the Serpent Flow, throwing Kang off because of the sudden change.
Kang tried once again but the repeating changes the heavenly demon did caused him to give up. The man's afterimages slowly faded as he started going in a zigzag route, completely relying on the Serpent Flow so Kang could have it.
