Chapter 49 - Inferno Cage

"Huh, what the hell?" Emerging from the gate's entrance, Kang allowed his vision to wander around before spotting the dead corpses lying scattered across the vast, ash-ridden volcanic terrain.

Flowing lava streams and dark, jagged rock formations dominated the field, illuminating the surroundings with a reddish hue as the dark grey clouds hovered below the sky, blocking the sunlight and giving the area an ominous feeling.

The numerous sharp peaks resampling mountains in the distance seemed like cage walls restricting anyone unfortunate from getting out. Far in the distance at the center, Kang could see what seemed to be a large obelisk.

With nothing in sight except the corpses, Kang thought for a while before coming up with an idea to bring the attention of whatever killed those humans lying before him. And what better way than destroying and terrain and being extra noisy?
