Suddenly, another voice whispered in Alandar's mind, its urgency echoing through his thoughts.
Alandar's brow furrowed in confusion. "What's that?"
The voice echoed again, its tone insistent. "What the hell?!"
As the dark dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across Avalon's rolling hills miles away, Alandar's eyes scanned the darkening landscape through the his wolf sharp sight.
"Aaron, do you hear the voice?" Alandar asked, frustration lacing his words.
Aaron shook his head, "I can. I'm trying to figure out who it is."
The mysterious voice soothed, "There's no need for that."
Alandar's confusion deepened. "What?!"
The voice replied, "I'm your demon, Alandar. Awakened by the red moon's power, I was reincarnated in you, trapped inside."
"I'm a demon and a wolf."Alandar said
Alandar stumbled back, hand on his sword's hilt, eyes wide with shock.
"Don't be surprised," the demon continued. "War looms ahead. I feel it. Raven's darkness spreads, shifting the balance of power."
"I know," Alandar said, voice steady, mind racing.
"This war will determine Avalon's future. It's going to be ruthless," the demon warned.
Alandar's grip on his sword tightened. "We'll be prepared."
As the demon fell silent, Alandar turned to Aaron. "By the way, demon, what's your name?"
"I'm Alan," the demon replied dryly.
Alandar chuckled. "You have an innocent name for a demon."
Just then, Baley's voice cut through the tension. "The atmosphere darkens, rain starts drizzling, Your Majesty. We should leave."
Alandar nodded, mounting his horse.
As they galloped through intensifying rain, Alandar felt Alan's presence stirring within.
*AN HOUR LATER - KINGDOM OF AVALOR*
Alandar dismounted, striding toward the mansion's illuminated entrance.
Inside, ministers bowed anxiously.
"My king," they chorused.
"Your disappearance caused chaos," Harriot ventured, trembling.
Alandar's gaze narrowed. "Silence!"
He paced, footsteps echoing. "Who dares question my actions?"
Harriot's eyes dropped. "Forgive me, my king."
Alandar's expression softened. "You'll serve as an example."
Aaron's mindlink interrupted. "Alandar, calm down."
"Why calm him?" Alan asked. "Let him handle them."
"Both, silence!" Alandar snapped.
Guards escorted Harriot to the dungeon.
"No food, no water until I decide his punishment," Alandar decreed.
"I, King Alandar Sebastian Rader, accept nothing but respect. You will give me that."
Alandar stormed out of the throne room.
*KINGDOM OF RAVEN*
King Maros walked through a dimly lit passage to a hidden underground room.
Dusty tomes lined the shelves, holding Raven's darkest secrets.
Maros opened a worn leather book.
"'500 years ago, Raven sought aid from Avalon, promising loyalty. But Raven's ambition burned brighter. They slaughtered Avalon's people, seeking domination. Now, Avalon craves revenge, while Raven hungers for power.'"
Maros's fist clenched. "I'll take over Avalon. It's mine to rule."
Shadows danced around him, echoing his dark intentions.
